This is output from the weather station that is on a pole attached to one of our boathouse dock pilings, located at latitude, longitude of 43.59546, -124.1457. See the location marked on a map here.

The weather station is an Ambient WS-5000 that was purchased and installed in April 2024. Depending on the lake level, since the boathouse rises and falls with the lake (and the weather station sensors do not) it’s either slightly above our boathouse roof (lake low point) or well below the boathouse roofline (lake high point). The latter may affect some of the wind speed and direction readings. Fortunately the wind is mostly from the south or north and the boathouse is to the east of the sensor.

Coming soon! I’m working on an ultrasonic sensor for the lake surface elevation, as well as temperature readings at various depths. I just need to bring my Arduino and microPython skills up a bit more.

Coming soon!

This is a table that shows historical climate data collected from the Ambient WS-5000 weather station that is mounted on our boathouse dock. See below for graphs of the same data.
